The inner (and outer) geek is just amazed at this light display. At first I was skeptical of its actual existence, but the more I studied the file the more I realized that it was probably easier to choreograph this in real life that to fashion it using mad computer skilz. I did a bit of snooping (or in this case Snoping) and located an article verifying the story as true with a little more information.
It's pretty cool - maybe someday I 'll do something similar. Maybe...
Thanks LaundryPiles
I lifted this directly out of a message I received at work. Seeing as how I haven't posted in a bit, I thought I'd start off with a PSA.
IS IT A STROKE? Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, that lack of awareness spells disaster for the stroke victim, who may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking the victim three simple questions:
If the person has trouble with any of these tasks, call 911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
Background
After discovering that a group of non-medical volunteers could identify facial weakness, arm weakness and speech problems, researchers urged the general public to learn these three questions. They presented their conclusions at one of the American Stroke Association's annual meetings. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke and prevent brain damage. If interested, check out the full story.
REMEMBER - WHEN IN DOUBT, ALWAYS CALL 9-1-1
