Have Canoe, Will Travel
Those who have seen my front yard know that it is a bit low. This is about how low it is. Every year we have a nice puddle that Things 1 & 2 enjoy splashing in. This year, the neighbor kids brought over an old canoe to add to the fun. I may have to get out there and test it out myself.

Family Trip
We are going to Anchor-town for the weekend. Gonna do some shopping, some site seeing, and some water-parkin'. The girls are excited, but I'm not really geared up for the 7 hour drive. If it was me, it'd be 5½, but with 2 small bladders and all not in sync...
Anyway, it's all about the journey, it's not the destination. Hope you all have a great trip into the weekend.
Update: We had a wonderful trip. Spent more money than we should have, went swimming, shopping, and eating. We created memories and enriched our lives. Why do I feel so dog-beat tired? Could it be the 14 hours on the road in a 4 day period? Probably...but it was worth it.
